Boon Tong Kee: Eat for a Cause

First of all, I just want to greet a Happy Happy Birthday to my dearest bestfriend/sister/ice cream buddy & fellow blogger, Chen Esteves! So for her celebration, we went out to eat a meaningful late lunch in a Singaporean Restaurant called Boon Tong Kee.

For only 299php (net) per head, you may enjoy delightful dimsum-all-you-can dishes. Not to mention, that for every dimsum dish, 3php is donated to an organization who aids in spreading literacy to disadvantaged Filipino children. 👐👐👐

Now isn’t that a good cause? Imagine if every child would be able to read and write. It would be jumpstart for a child’s brighter future. And all of this starts in one dimsum dish. As the Pinoy phrase would say, “Busog kana, nakatulong kapa.”

This promo runs throughout February 2016 available on all Boon Tong Kee branches, every Mondays thru Thursdays at 2-6pm. Also, the celebration was timely since it is the Chinese New Year today. Kung Hei Fat Choi! 🎉🎉🎉

The dimsum dishes served are steamed or baked pork buns, steamed sausage buns, seafood rolls, crispy beancurd, crabfish siomai, pork siomai, buchi, fried dumplings and chicken feet. I was only able to eat a few of them, since I don’t really eat pork. However, despite the limits I had. I did have a filling lunch. 😄😄😄

While waiting…did I mention that Iced Tea was unlimited too?!

Some pictures might not be picture-esque for a food blog. We were quick to devour the dimsum platter as soon as it was laid in the table. Lelz. 🍴🍴🍴
